Compliance

What is PCI DSS?

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) sets security requirements for handling payment-card data. In contact centres, a common risk is card numbers (PAN) or CVV being spoken aloud and captured in recordings.

PCI compliance requires controls to prevent card data exposure — pause-and-resume recording, secure payment capture, and agent behaviour rules.

QUALICORE includes real-time guardrails that detect card data read aloud during a call, and lets PCI rules be scored as compliance criteria with escalation.
